Here's some more progression on the environments I'm creating for my student film. I'm currently at the stage of creating props, corridors and alleys. I'll need to move on to the larger scale rooms later on.
By the way, for those interested, I started a new tumblr page last week, were I intend to dump most of my creative work. Go check it out, and follow me!
Otherwise stay tuned for some more.
Down below is a concept for one of the larger scale rooms. It's still in it's conceptual stage for now.

In general, designing environments seems to be more challenging than I had imagined. It's taking me awhile to come up with something interesting enough to proceed with modeling. A fear I have right now, is getting to the modeling stage with a design I may not be entirely happy with. Hopefully things clear out as time passes.
Feedback would be great you lurkers/anons/strangers. (P.S. there's a comment section)

Zbrushing Path based on the new concept is pretty cool. The character is beginning to take shape and it's really nice to see it unfold before the monitor. I started out with base meshes created in 3Ds Max, and imported them as subtools into Zbrush.
I'm currently making little adjustments to the character, making it reflect the design a little more.
Stay tuned for some more.
Here's a cool drawing for you peeps.

Here is an update concerning another character for my final student film. A lot of changes had to be made concerning the appearance. The character has tio reflect a more grumpy, obssesed, needy personality. He also lives in an abandoned building, so he needed a grimier and dirty attire.
Here are the final designs for Path, another character for my final film. I've continued exploring the traveler, adventurer style, while still maintaining some stylistic choices. The second picture below will be the final design for the film.

With my pitch for my film undergoing evaluation, there have been changes made to the overall design and art direction. Path, the lead character of the story, requires some more durable, and resistant clothing due to his living conditions. Having to deal with survival as an obstacle, many things had to be rearranged an changed to fit the present scenario.
Here are the older designs:
and here is the most recent, with the new ajustments applied:
more is to come.
